We are honored to announce that one of Craig Baird’s photographs has been selected to be exhibited in the 9th Photographic Image Biennial Exhibition at East Carolina University School of Art and Design in Greenville, North Carolina. The photograph to be exhibited is Young Couple Dancing, First Annual King Biscuit Blues Festival. This image was included in the exhibit Come Day, Go Day, Days Since Gone Away held last year at the Delta Cultural Center in Helena, Arkansas.
This exhibit was juried by Burk Uzzle, who was the youngest photographer hired by Life Magazine and would later go on to become a member of the distinguished Magnum Photos international photographic cooperative. Mr. Uzzle will present a lecture, Thursday January 22 at 5:00 PM in Speight Auditorium, with the opening reception to follow.
