Hino Motors Campus Entry Point

Marion, Arkansas
___

The design was driven by the Japanese concept of “Ma”, an interval, pause, or intentional emptiness in space that allows life to breathe. The spaces within the Entry building can be divided into primary and support spaces; those that support are presented as red boxes set within the glass envelope. In this way, the support spaces define the edges of the primary spaces which are made up of the pauses between boxes.
